My formal education journey pivoted from pre-med to environmental studies. I have always viewed human health as intrinsically linked to the health of our environment. We are nature and nature heals.

After working within my other passion of agriculture and local food systems for several years, I felt the call leading me back into the health field with my personal health journey becoming a large motivating factor. During my 20’s, I started to take my health into my own hands, researching and trying many different methods to heal my body. More importantly, this sent me on a larger journey of healing my mind and spirit as well—an ever-unfolding spiral path.

I went back to school to finish my pre-med requirements and went on to complete a 4 year post-graduate naturopathic medical program which included clinical training and board licensing examinations.

Concomitantly, I completed a program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

While my path took me through the formal education route, I acknowledge that many of these modalities are based on indigenous knowledge. I am committed to honoring these roots and making this practice of medicine as accessible as possible to all those who desire to work with it.
