MY APPROACH

I have always been a curious researcher at heart. My approach is a balance of intuition, spirit, and art as much as it is science and evidence. I frequently check primary research sources on PubMed, but also recognize that many studies are biased, poorly designed, or not accounting for the whole picture. This is where the intuition and art come in as well as listening to your unique lived experience.
I will work alongside you and your own intuition to find what resonates with your system to assist you in feeling your most vital self.
My approach stems from being a highly sensitive person and having experienced many years of chronic illness, from tick-borne illness, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and chronic fatigue. I learned a lot from researching and trying different approaches on myself. When the evidence-based protocols did not work for me, I had to dig deeper and really tune into my own intuition, which helped to refine my approach with patients today.
We are all complex beings with unique needs. I believe in treating the entire self and addressing all aspects of mind-body-spirit, but also meeting you where you are at.
You will find that my practice is a blend of labwork, lifestyle medicine, supplementation and botanicals, as well as energy medicine like homeopathy, acupuncture, and medical intuition to balance the flow of energy within the body.
I am not the type of practitioner who will prescribe you a hundred expensive supplements or require you to get extensive labwork. I have been on the receiving end of that myself and know what it feels like to spend a lot of money with high hopes of finding answers and left with nothing but bills.
I like utilizing supplements and labs, though for me quality is more important, as well as figuring out what is most necessary for your body.
We will start with a comprehensive health history, including discussing any labs you already have, and what you have already tried. I may also weave Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into the initial intake, or focus on that at a later appointment. From there, we will agree upon a treatment plan using modalities that resonate with you.
I treat the entire person based on how imbalances are presenting in your body. That being said, some common concerns I can help with include:
Anxiety, depression, stress and burn-out, chronic fatigue, grief, hormonal imbalances, menstrual cycle regulation, thyroid imbalances, digestive system concerns, skin concerns, autoimmune issues, poor sleep, and more.
